How to add static virtual account in the invoice that I created through NetSuite?

Initial Setup 

Let's start by customizing your invoice template.

  1. Login to your Netsuite account

  2. Go to “Customization” > “Forms” > “Advanced PDF/HTML template”

  3. Search for your specific “Custom Invoice” template and make sure the preferred box is checked, then click “Edit”



  4. Add ${record.entity.accountnumber} in the template code and placed them as you want then click “Save” - you might need help from Netsuite technical support to do this

  5. Go to “Customization” > “Forms” > choose “Transactions Forms”

  6. Look for your specific “Custom Invoice” form and click “Edit”

  7. Make sure you choose “Custom Invoice PDF/HTML template” on the “Print Template”

  8. Finally, click “Save”

Steps to Include your Static VA in your Netsuite Invoices:

  1. Download template here, and fill the information needed (click here to see Internal ID example)
  2. Log In to your Netsuite account.
  3. Go to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV record.

  4. Follow the steps of uploading the CSV file, few items need to be aware:
    1. Import type : choose “Relationships”
    2. Record type : choose “Customers Only”
    3. CSV file : One File to Upload, then “Select” to attach the CSV file. After that click “Next”.
    4. Data Handling : choose “Update”, move to File Mapping
    5. File Mapping: “Account to Customer : Account” and “Internal ID to Customer : internal ID”

    6. Field Mapping : You can leave it blank.
    7. Click “Save and Run” in the bottom right, then choose “Run”
